To regulate a temperature of a battery efficiently.SOLUTION: A temperature regulator includes: a first passage in which a heat medium flows; a pump part which is provided at the first passage and pumps the heat medium; a second passage in which a battery is disposed and which communicates with the first passage; a third passage which communicates with the first passage; a heating/cooling element which has a first portion and a second portion that can be controlled so that their temperatures differ from each other and in which the first portion is installed at the upstream side of the battery in the second passage and the second portion is provided at the third passage; and a circulation passage which circulates the heat medium in the second passage that has passed through the battery to the upstream of the pump part in the first passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
