To provide a railroad crossing gate which can temporarily lift a crossing bar when lowering the bar is disturbed and, after that, can be prevented from a malfunction to continue the lifting of the bar.SOLUTION: A railroad crossing gate 1 comprises: a motor 4 to lift and lower a crossing bar; a motor drive section 5 which has a relay 51 that lifts-up by application of a drive voltage, rotates the motor 4 in a direction to lift the crossing bar when the relay 51 lifts-up and rotates the motor 4 in a direction to lower the crossing bar when the relay 51 is lowered; and a relay control section 7 that has a capacitor 71 to which and to the relay 51 the drive voltage is applied when the relay 51 lifts-up and lifts the crossing bar by making the relay 51 temporarily lifts-up as a result of letting charges stored in the capacitor 71 discharge in the case where a load current of the motor 4 surpasses a threshold value when the crossing bar is lowered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】遮断桿の下降動作が妨害された場合に前記遮断桿を一時的に上昇させることができ、且つ、その後に前記遮断桿の上昇が誤動作によって継続されてしまうことを防止することのできる踏切遮断機を提供する。【解決手段】踏切遮断機1は、遮断桿を昇降させるモータ4と、駆動電圧の印加によって扛上するリレー51を含み、リレー51の扛上時には前記遮断桿を上昇させる方向にモータ4を回転させ、リレー51の落下時には前記遮断桿を下降させる方向にモータ4を回転させるモータ駆動部5と、リレー51の扛上時にリレー51と共に前記駆動電圧が印加されるコンデンサ71を含み、前記遮断桿の下降時にモータ4の負荷電流が閾値を超えた場合にコンデンサ71に蓄えられている電荷を放電させることでリレー51を一時的に扛上させて遮断桿を上昇させるリレー制御部7と、を有する。【選択図】図3
