To provide a method for efficiently predicting physical properties of a tire member after vulcanization with high accuracy.SOLUTION: This tire member physical property prediction method has a first step of obtaining a temperature-time curve indicative of a thermal history which a tire member receives in manufacturing a tire, a second step of preparing a test piece made of unvulcanized rubber, a third step of controlling a temperature of this test piece at intervals of at least one second in accordance with the temperature-time curve to obtain a vulcanized test piece, and a fourth step of measuring visco-elasticity of this vulcanized test piece to predict physical properties of the tire member which will be obtained by using the unvulcanized rubber. In the first step of this prediction method, it is preferable that a green tire made of a combination of a plurality of tire members is prepared and a temperature of each of the tire members is measured during application of heat and pressure to this green tire to obtain a temperature-time curve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】加硫後のタイヤ部材の物性を、高い精度で効率よく予測する方法の提供。【解決手段】このタイヤ部材の物性予測方法は、タイヤ製造時にタイヤ部材が受ける熱履歴を示す温度−時間曲線を得る第一工程、未加硫ゴムからなる試験片を準備する第二工程、温度−時間曲線に従って、少なくとも1秒毎に、この試験片の温度を制御して加硫試験片を得る第三工程、及びこの加硫試験片の粘弾性測定をおこなって、未加硫ゴムを用いて得られるタイヤ部材の物性を予測する第四工程、を有している。この予測方法では、第一工程において、複数のタイヤ部材を組み合わせてなるグリーンタイヤを準備し、このグリーンタイヤを加硫機中で加熱及び加圧する際に、各タイヤ部材の温度を計測することにより、温度−時間曲線を得ることが好ましい。【選択図】図1
