To enable a driver of each vehicle to take an appropriate action when lane change is not possible at a point where a vehicle traveling in formation needs to change a lane.SOLUTION: A vehicle lane change support device 10 includes: a vehicle lane change location acquisition unit 11 for acquiring vehicle lane change location information associated with a route of traveling in formation: a location acquisition unit 12 for acquiring a location of a leading vehicle among a plurality of vehicles that are traveling in formation; a travel information acquisition unit 13 for acquiring travel information on the leading vehicle including at least speed information; a calculation unit 14 for calculating a predicted location that is a location of the leading vehicle after a predetermined time based on the location and travel information on the leading vehicle; a determination unit 15 for determining whether or not the predicted location is outside a range of a vehicle lane change location; and a notification unit 16 for notifying a succeeding vehicle that there is a possibility that the vehicle lane change is not possible, when the predicted location is determined to be outside the range of the vehicle lane change location.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
