To control an ECU by a pseudo signal to prevent quick start of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A quick start prevention device is applied to a vehicle comprising a shift lever 21, a shift position signal output means 20, an accelerator pedal 11, an accelerator opening signal output means 10, and an ECU 30. The quick start prevention device comprises a shift position acquisition means 110, an accelerator opening acquisition means 120, and an accelerator opening reduction control means 100. When a shift position and an accelerator opening satisfy certain conditions, the accelerator opening reduction control means 100 determines that an accelerator operation is abnormal, and outputs to the ECU 30 a pseudo signal with the accelerator opening reduced, regardless of an actual accelerator opening.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
