To maintain operation of an electrical component by using a simple configuration even when means for detecting a current of a battery has failure.SOLUTION: A vehicular electric power supply device 1 includes: a battery 2 mounted to a vehicle 10; an electrical component 3 mounted to the vehicle 10 and to which electric power is supplied from the battery 2; a current detection section 4 detecting a current of the battery 2; and an electric power supply control section 7 controlling supply of electric power from the battery 2 to the electrical component 3 on the basis of the current of the battery 2 detected by the current detection section 4. When a failure detection section 6 detects failure of the current detection section 4, the supply of electric power from the battery 2 to the electrical component 3 is continued on the basis of voltage of the battery 2 detected by a voltage detection section 5. Due to this simple configuration, even when means for detecting a current of the battery 2 has failure, the operation of the electrical component 3 can be maintained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】単純な構成により、バッテリの電流を検出する手段の故障時においても、電装品の稼働を維持する。【解決手段】車両10に搭載されたバッテリ2と、車両10に搭載されてバッテリ2から電力を供給される電装品3と、バッテリ2の電流を検出する電流検出部4と、電流検出部4により検出されたバッテリ2の電流に基づいて、バッテリ2から電装品3への電力の供給を制御する電力供給制御部7とを備えた車両用電力供給装置1において、故障検知部6が電流検出部4の故障を検知したときに、電圧検出部5により検出されたバッテリ2の電圧に基づいて、バッテリ2から電装品3への電力の供給が続行される。このため、単純な構成により、バッテリ2の電流を検出する手段の故障時においても、電装品3の稼働を維持することができる。【選択図】図1
