To provide a technique for upgrading the possibility of more efficiently performing coincidence determination processing of determining whether an advancing direction of a vehicle coincides with an advancing direction registered in relation to an accident-prone point.SOLUTION: An accident notification system includes: an acquisition unit that acquires a moving route of a vehicle; a determination unit that references an accident table, in which an intersection or road interval including an accident point where an accident has occurred is associated with at least one of an approaching route to the accident point and an exit route from the accident point, to determine whether the advancing direction of the vehicle along the moving route coincides with an advancing direction at the accident position determined based on the accident table; and an output control unit that, when the advancing directions are determined to coincide with each other, allows an output unit to output notification information to a user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両の進行方向と、事故多発地点に対して登録された進行方向と、の一致判定の処理をより効率的に行う可能性を高める技術の提供。【解決手段】車両の移動経路を取得する取得部と、事故が発生した事故地点を含む交差点又は道路区間と、事故地点への進入経路及び事故地点からの退出経路の少なくとも一方と、を対応付けた事故テーブルを参照し、移動経路における前記車両の進行方向と、事故テーブルから定まる、事故地点における進行方向と、が一致するか否かの判定を行う判定部と、進行方向が一致すると判定された場合に、ユーザへの通知情報を出力部に出力させる出力制御部とを備える。【選択図】図1
