To provide a switch failure detection device capable of detecting a switch failure.SOLUTION: A plurality of switches Q1 and Q2 is respectively provided on a plurality of branch paths L1 and L2. A current detecting portion 14 outputs current detection signals SG1 and SG2 according to currents I1 and I2 respectively flowing in the plurality of branch paths L1 and L2. A memory 15A stores an initial value of the current detection signal SG1, SG2 of each the current path L1, L2, on the basis of the current detection signals SG1 and SG2 when the plurality of switches Q1 and Q2 is controlled to turn off. A micro computer 15 controls to turn off the switches Q1 and Q2 about each branch path L1, L2 in order only during a fixed time period, after controlling to turn on the plurality of switches Q1 and Q2. The micro computer 15 detects the failure of the switches Q1 and Q2, on the basis of the comparison between the current detection signals SG1 and SG2 while the switches Q1 and Q2 are controlled to turn on and the initial value, and the comparison between the current detection signals SG1 and SG2 while the switches Q1 and Q2 are controlled to turn off and the initial value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】スイッチの故障を検出できるスイッチの故障検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】複数のスイッチQ1、Q2が、複数の分岐経路L1、L2上に各々設けられている。電流検出部14が、複数の分岐経路L1、L2に各々流れる電流I1、I2に応じた電流検出信号SG1、SG2を出力する。メモリ15Aは、複数のスイッチQ1、Q2をオフ制御したときの電流検出信号SG1、SG2に基づいて、電流経路L1、L2毎の電流検出信号SG1、SG2の初期値を記憶する。マイコン15は、複数のスイッチQ1、Q2をオン制御した後、スイッチQ1、Q2を分岐経路L1、L2毎に順番に、一定時間だけオフ制御する。マイコン15は、スイッチQ1、Q2のオン制御中の電流検出信号SG1、SG2及び初期値の比較と、スイッチQ1、Q2のオフ制御中の電流検出信号SG1、SG2及び初期値の比較と、に基づいて、スイッチQ1、Q2の故障を検出する。【選択図】図1
