To enhance safety of a vehicle by reducing a risk of rear-end collision.SOLUTION: There are provided a recognition unit 22 as a detection unit for detecting a following vehicle traveling behind a vehicle in the same direction as that of the vehicle; a rear-end collision determination unit 23 for determining whether or not there is a risk that the following vehicle collides with the vehicle, based on a result of the recognition unit 22; and a projection control unit 24 for performing a control of projecting an image on a road surface in front of the following vehicle, behind the vehicle with respect to a projection unit 13, when the rear-end collision determination unit 23 determines that there is the risk that the following vehicle collides with the vehicle. The image is in a mode recognizable so as to be operated for avoiding collision by a collision safety system for automatically avoiding the collision of the following vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】追突されるおそれを低減して、車両の安全性を高めること。【解決手段】車両の後方を、車両と同じ方向に走行する後続車両を検出する検出部としての認識部22と、認識部22の結果に基づいて、後続車両が車両に追突するおそれがあるか否かを判断する追突判断部23と、追突判断部23が、後続車両が車両に追突するおそれがあると判断した場合、投影部13に対して、車両の後方であって、後続車両の前方の路面に画像を投影させる制御を行う投影制御部24とを備える。画像は、後続車両の衝突を自動で回避するための衝突安全システムによって、衝突を回避するために作動するように認識可能な態様である。【選択図】図1
