To suppress occurrence of an unintended regenerative current by a motor.SOLUTION: A self-propelled working machine includes a vehicle body, a handle which is provided on the vehicle body and is gripped by a user, wheels which are rotatably provided on the vehicle body, a motor which is provided on the vehicle body and drives the wheels, and a lock mechanism which is provided between the motor and the wheels and outputs rotation of the motor to the wheels. The lock mechanism includes an input shaft connected to the motor and an output shaft connected to the wheels, and inhibits or suppresses rotation of the output shaft when a rotational speed of the output shaft is higher than a rotational speed of the input shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
