To provide a driving device of a vehicle seat which achieves high controllability and is inexpensive.SOLUTION: A driving device of a vehicle seat includes: a cylinder body 26 including a piston rod 11 connected to a vehicle seat 2; a hydraulic cylinder 12 having an oil chamber 13 and an atmospheric pressure chamber 30; an oil storage part 74 connected to the oil chamber 13 through an oil amount control unit 61; an air/oil pressure converter 16 having an air storage part 75; and a mechanical valve 4 (a switch valve) provided between the air storage part 75 and an air pressure source 67. The oil amount control unit 61 has a check mechanical valve 6 (an on-off valve) which opens or closes an oil passage 181 between the oil chamber 13 and the oil storage part 74. The check mechanical valve 6 includes: a check valve part 183 which allows a working fluid 31 to pass only from the oil storage part 74 side to the oil chamber 13 side; and an operation part 185 which operates the check valve part 183 so that the working fluid passes through the check valve part 183.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
