To provide a fiber-reinforced plastic body having a perforated portion and a connecting member using the same, which prevents the fiber layer in the periphery of the perforated portion from failing, even under a stress that is expanded due to a stress concentration occurring in the periphery of the perforated portion when a load is inputted, and a connecting member using the same.SOLUTION: A connecting member 10 comprises a fiber-reinforced resin body having a plurality of fiber bundles and a resin 15 impregnated between the plurality of fiber bundles and the like. The connecting member has a perforated portion 11. The periphery of the perforated portion 11 has: a first portion 16 including fiber bundles oriented in a direction that is approximately orthogonal to a central axis O1 of the perforated portion 11; and a second portion 17 including fiber bundles oriented in a direction along a central axis O1 of the perforated portion 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2B
