To provide a technique for preventing power from being unnecessarily consumed in route guidance using a mobile terminal.SOLUTION: In a mobile terminal 10, mobile terminal control program 21 in a control unit 20 includes a route guidance unit and a power saving control unit. The route guidance unit 21a guides a scheduled route to a destination, and re-searches the scheduled route when the unit leaves the scheduled route. The power saving control unit 21b makes the mobile terminal to perform the power saving operation in a case where the ambient brightness is darker than a threshold or in a case where the operation is not performed for a predetermined period of time or in a case where the re-search is performed a predetermined number of times within a predetermined period of time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
