To provide a vehicular battery system capable of reducing variations in battery voltages of multiple battery cells included in a battery pack even if it is not during normal charging.SOLUTION: A vehicular battery system comprises: multiple battery cells included in a battery pack; a solar panel which generates power capable of charging at least one battery cell among the multiple battery cells; a battery monitoring device including a voltage measurement section for measuring battery voltages of the multiple battery cells individually on a predetermined time basis, and an identification section for identifying a battery cell of a lowest battery voltage at that time point based on the battery voltages measured on the predetermined time basis by the voltage measurement section; and a changeover switch which is provided between the solar panel and the multiple battery cells and changes over a supply destination of power generated by the solar panel to the battery cell identified by the identification section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
