To provide an electrically-driven actuator capable of saving space, and highly accurately retaining reverse input; and to provide surely actuating a reverse input retention mechanism and reducing costs; and to provide an electric brake device.SOLUTION: An electrically-driven actuator has an engaged part Hk provided on a speed reducer 5, and a locking mechanism including a driving source for driving an engaging part that can be engaged with and disengaged from the engaged part Hk, and also comprises a parking brake mechanism which becomes in a locked state when the engaging part is engaged with the engaged part Hk. An electric motor 4 and the locking mechanism are disposed on the speed reducer 5 in one of the rotational axis directions of the speed reducer 5. A gear member 27 on a front-step side of the speed reducer 5 comprises: a first gear-shaped part 27a for decelerating rotation of a rotor 4a; and a second gear-shaped part 27b configuring a second-step gear engagement with a gear member 25 on a rear-step side on a same axis as that of the first gear-shaped part 27a, and having an outermost diameter dimension smaller than that of the first gear-shaped part 27a. The engaged part Hk is disposed on the first gear-shaped part 27a, and the engaged part Hk is disposed facing the locking mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
