To realize transition of stable control state in automatic operation of a vehicle.SOLUTION: An automatic operation control device for controlling acceleration and deceleration of an own vehicle comprises: a switching control part 143 which switches between a first control state by the automatic operation control device and a second control state where required operations of a driver are fewer or an automation rate is higher compared to the first control state; a recognition part which recognizes peripheral vehicles which travel around the own vehicle; an actual inter-vehicle distance calculation part which calculates an actual inter-vehicle distance between the own vehicle and a preceding vehicle recognized by the recognition part; and a target inter-vehicle distance setting part 142 which calculates a target inter-vehicle distance with respect to the preceding vehicle. It is a switching condition from the first control state to the second control state by the switching control part 143 that an absolute value of a difference between the actual inter-vehicle distance and the target inter-vehicle distance set by the target inter-vehicle distance setting part 142 is a prescribed threshold or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】車両の自動運転において安定的な制御状態の遷移を実現することを課題とする。【解決手段】自車両の加減速を制御する自動運転制御装置であって、自動運転制御装置による第1制御状態に比して運転者の必要操作がより少ない、もしくは自動化率がより高い第2の制御状態とを切り替える切替制御部143と、自車両の周辺を走行する周辺車両を認識する認識部と、認識部によって認識された先行車との実車間距離を算出する実車間距離算出部と、先行車に対する目標車間距離を算出する目標車間距離設定部142と、を備え、切替制御部143による第1制御状態から第2制御状態への切替条件は、実車間距離と、目標車間距離設定部142によって算出された目標車間距離との差の絶対値が所定の閾値以下であることを特徴とする。【選択図】図3
