To provide a composite elongated member which enables a metal and a fiber-reinforced resin to be jointed more securely by an adhesive.SOLUTION: A composite elongated member includes: a first member 1 having a C shaped cross section and made of a metal; a second member 2 in which a protruding outer surface of an arch shaped cross section is joined to an interior of a C shape of the first member 1 and which is made of a metal; and a reinforcement member 3 in which a protruding outer surface of an arch shaped cross section is adhered to an arch shaped recessed inner surface of the second member 2 and which is made of a fiber-reinforced resin. The first member 1 and the second member 2, which are metal, are joined at sufficient joint strength even if a contact area is not wide. The second member 2 and the reinforcement member 3, which have the arch shape, are adhered to each other at a wide adhesion area through an adhesive layer 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】 金属と繊維強化性樹脂とを接着剤によりしっかりと接合することのできる複合長尺部材を提供する。【解決手段】 複合長尺部材は、コ字形断面の金属製の第一部材1と、アーチ形断面の凸外面が第一部材1のコ字形の内部に接合された金属製の第二部材2と、アーチ形断面の凸外面が第二部材2のアーチ形の凹内面に接着された繊維強化樹脂製の補強部材3とからなる。金属同士の第一部材1と第二部材とは、接触面積が広くなくても充分な接合強度で接合される。アーチ形の第二部材2と補強部材3とは、接着剤層5を介して広い接着面積で接着される。【選択図】図3
