To provide a simple vehicular skeleton structure with an uneven cross section which can improve absorption performance of collision energy (collision load) while suppressing an amount of plastic deformation by adding a part which contributes to absorb the collision energy (collision load).SOLUTION: A vehicular skeleton structure 2 has a closed cross section which is configured from two long side wall parts 8, 9, and two short side wall parts 10, 11 of which the whole length is smaller than that of the long side wall part. The long side wall parts have a first deformation part 12 and a second deformation part 13 which are projected in a closed cross section inside direction, both of the deformation parts have a positional relationship of a point symmetry with respect to a center-of-gravity point, and are so provided as not to traverse a virtual line 16 which connects middle points of the short side wall parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】衝突エネルギ(衝突荷重)の吸収に寄与する部分を付加することで、塑性変形量を抑えつつ衝突エネルギ(衝突荷重)の吸収性能を向上させるシンプルな断面凹凸形状の車両用骨格構造を提供する。【解決手段】2つの長辺壁部8,9と、長辺壁部よりも全長が小さい2つの短辺壁部10,11とで閉断面が構成される車両用骨格構造2であって、2つの長辺壁部は、それぞれ閉断面内側方向に凸設された第1変形部12及び第2変形部13を有し、双方の変形部は、重心点に対して点対称な位置関係で、かつ、短辺壁部の中点を相互に結ぶ仮想線16を横切らないように設けられている。【選択図】図4
