To estimate temperature accurately regardless of change in electrolyte volume.SOLUTION: A rechargeable battery temperature estimation device for estimating internal temperature of a rechargeable battery has calculation means (algorithm 30) for calculating internal temperature on the basis of a relational expression indicating relationship of at least one of the current flowing through a rechargeable battery 14 and the external temperature thereof, and the internal temperature of the rechargeable battery, liquid measure estimation means (electrolyte liquid measure estimation part 39) for estimating the liquid measure of the rechargeable battery, correction means (coefficient correction section 40) for correcting the coefficients of the relational expression on the basis of the liquid measure estimated by the liquid measure estimation means, and output means (adder circuit 37) for outputting the internal temperature calculated by the calculation means, on the basis of the relational expression, coefficients of which are corrected by the correction means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
