To provide a technology capable of suppressing deterioration and damage of a fuel cell due to air withering at a cathode electrode without lowering the responsiveness of onboard equipment other than a propulsion motor that consumes power supplied by a fuel cell in a ship fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A ship fuel cell system includes an equipment actuation start operation detection unit 51C that detects an actuation start operation of onboard equipment, and a load rapid increase determination unit 52 that determines whether the load is in a rapid increase state in which a rapid increase in the power generation load of a fuel cell 10 is predicted on the basis of the detection result of the equipment actuation start operation detection unit 51C, and an oxidant gas supply control unit 11A sets the target oxidant gas supply amount when the load rapid increase determination unit 52 determines that the load is in the rapid increase state to be larger than when the load rapid increase determination unit determines that the load is not in the rapid increase state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
