To provide an energization control device that can supply a dark current to a load in a standby mode.SOLUTION: An energization control device 20 includes a semiconductor switch 24 provided in an energization path 23 between a power supply and a load, and a controller 25 that controls the drive of the semiconductor switch 24. In the normal mode, a control unit 33 of a controller 25 controls the semiconductor switch 24 to be in an on state in which a current flows in a state where a resistance value is lower than that in the standby mode. In the standby mode, the control unit 33 controls the semiconductor switch 24 to be in an on state in which a current flows in a state where the resistance value is higher than that in the normal mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
