To provide a bumper reinforcement material for automobile such that a bumper reinforcement material which has both end parts bent and also has crushed parts formed at both the end parts, and is made of an aluminum alloy extruded material reduces reaction force to a collision load in an end part collision accompanying the crushing and compensates for a decrease in energy absorption quantity of the bumper reinforcing material.SOLUTION: Dividing a space between both flanges 2, 3 in a cross section of a crushed part 7 perpendicular to an extrusion direction into a region Ao from a center line O of a thickness between both the flanges to the outer flange 3 and a region Ai from the center line O to the inner flange 2, webs 4-6 located in one region (for example, the region Ao) between the two regions have larger area than the webs located in the other region (for example, the region Ai).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】両端部が曲げ加工され、かつ前記両端部に潰し加工部が形成されたアルミニウム合金押出形材製のバンパー補強材において、潰し加工に伴う端部衝突時の衝突荷重に対する反力の減少、及びバンパー補強材のエネルギー吸収量の減少を補うバンパー補強部材を提供する。【解決手段】潰し加工部7の押出方向に垂直な断面において、両フランジ2,3間のスペースを、両フランジ間の厚みの中心ラインOからアウターフランジ3までの領域Aoと前記中心ラインOからインナーフランジ2までの領域Aiに分けたとき、前記2つの領域のうち一方の領域(例えば領域Ao)内に位置するウエブ4〜6の面積が、他方の領域内(例えば領域Ai)に位置する前記ウエブの面積より大きくなるようにする。【選択図】図1
