To provide a motion conversion device which is comparatively high in efficiency and rigidity, and comparatively low in a cost.SOLUTION: In a motion conversion mechanism 50 including a shaft body 48 at which male screws are formed, and a cylinder body 78 formed with female screws screwed with the male screws, and converting a rotation motion of either of the shaft body and the cylinder body to a linear motion of the other of the shaft body and the cylinder body, two female screw parts 78b, 78c formed with the female screws, respectively, are arranged at the cylinder body with a non-screwed part 78d not formed with the female screws sandwiched therebetween in an axial line direction. A distance between the most separated two female screws in the axial line direction can be elongated in the axial line direction out of threads of the engaged female screws while comparatively reducing the number of the threads of the female screws of the cylinder body which are engaged with the male screws of the shaft body. As a result, a motion conversion mechanism which is comparatively low in a processing cost, and comparatively high in efficiency and rigidity can be obtained.     【課題】 比較的効率,強度が高く、比較的低コストな動作変換機構を提供する。【解決手段】 雄ねじが形成された軸体48と、その雄ねじと螺合する雌ねじが形成された筒体78とを含んで構成され、それら軸体と筒体との一方の回転動作を他方の直動動作に変換する動作変換機構50において、筒体に、それぞれに雌ねじが形成された2つの雌ねじ部78b,78cを、雌ねじが形成されていない無ねじ部78dを軸線方向において挟んで設ける。軸体の雄ねじと噛合する筒体の雌ねじの山数を比較的少なくしつつ、その噛合する雌ねじの山のうちで最も軸線方向において離間した2つのものの軸線方向距離を長くすることが可能となる。その結果、加工コストが比較的低く、比較的高効率,高強度な動作変換機構が実現する。本動作変換機構は、電動ブレーキアクチュエータに好適である。【選択図】 図6
