To provide a battery temperature raising device capable of effectively raising the temperature of a battery during charging while using heat other than an electric heater as much as possible to improve electric power consumption.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a battery temperature raising device that raises, in a vehicle mounted with an internal combustion engine 2 and a motor 4 using a battery 31 as a power source, the temperature of the battery 31 during charging in a state that the internal combustion engine 2 is stopped. The battery temperature raising device includes a main circuit 11 in which cooling water circulates through the internal combustion engine 2, a first battery circuit 41 connected in parallel to the main circuit 11, and a second flow control valve 44 disposed in the first battery circuit 41. The battery temperature raising device executes first temperature control for raising the temperature of the battery 31 by opening the second flow control valve 44 to introduce cooling water in the main circuit 11 into the first battery circuit 41, when during charging of the battery 31, a battery temperature TBAT is lower than a predetermined temperature TREF and an engine water temperature TWE is higher than the battery temperature TBAT (steps 2 to 4 in Figure 3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】充電中のバッテリの昇温を、電気ヒータ以外の熱を可能な限り利用しながら有効に行い、電費を向上させることができるバッテリ昇温装置を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、内燃機関2とバッテリ31を電源とするモータ4を搭載した車両において、内燃機関2を停止した状態での充電中、バッテリ31を昇温するバッテリ昇温装置に関する。内燃機関2を通って冷却水が循環する主回路11と、主回路11に並列に接続された第1バッテリ回路41と、第1バッテリ回路41に配置された第2流量制御弁44を備え、バッテリ31の充電中、バッテリ温度TBATが所定温度TREF以下で、かつエンジン水温TWEがバッテリ温度TBATよりも高いときに、第2流量制御弁44を開弁し、主回路11内の冷却水を第1バッテリ回路41に導入することで、バッテリ31を昇温する第1昇温制御を実行する(図3のステップ2〜4)。【選択図】図3
