To provide a bearing bush for a seat reclining device adaptable to an automobile seat or the like, having excellent wear resistance without the necessity for a one-size larger layout while having a lead-less type, and also without forming a low-friction slide material to a friction slide-contact face of a wedge-shaped piece.SOLUTION: A bearing bush 10 is constituted of a metal base material 11, and a slide layer 15 which is formed on a surface of the metal base material 11 via a porous layer 12. The slide layer 15 has a PTFE resin layer on a surface being a slide face sliding with a wedge-shaped piece, the PTFE resin layer is a bridged PTFE resin layer 14 which is bridged up to a boundary face between a surface of the slide layer 15 and an underlayer 13, a bridge rate of the bridged PTFE resin layer 14 continuously becomes low toward a depth direction from the surface of the slide layer 15, and the bridge rate is 9 to 25%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
