To make it possible to move a ship in a longitudinal direction without flowing of the same in a cross direction, and quickly change a direction of the ship during movement in the longitudinal direction into an oblique direction.SOLUTION: An outboard engine control device controls plural outboard engines provided on a ship. Each outboard engine comprises a propulsion unit and a steering actuator. The ship comprises an operation part for operating the steering actuator and the propulsion unit. The operation part may be positioned at a first position where the outboard engine does not generate propulsion power of the ship, a second position where the outboard engine generates propulsion power for moving the ship in the longitudinal direction, and a third position where the outboard engine generates propulsion power for moving the ship in the oblique direction which makes an acute angle with the longitudinal direction. In the case that the operation part is moved to the third position from the first position via the second position, a cross direction component of propulsion power in the oblique direction, which is generated by the outboard engine, is larger, or a longitudinal direction component of propulsion power in the oblique direction, which is generated by the outboard engine, is smaller compared to the case that the operation part is directly moved to the third position from the first position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】前後方向に流されることなく船舶を左右方向に移動させ、左右方向に移動中の船舶の向きを迅速に斜め方向に切り替える。【解決手段】船外機用制御装置は、船舶に備えられた複数の船外機を制御する。各船外機は推進ユニットと操舵アクチュエータとを備える。船舶は、操舵アクチュエータおよび推進ユニットを作動させる操作部を備える。操作部は、船外機が船舶の推進力を発生しない第1位置と、船外機が船舶を左右方向に移動させる推進力を発生する第2位置と、船外機が左右方向と鋭角をなす斜め方向に船舶を移動させる推進力を発生する第3位置とに位置し得る。操作部が第1位置から第2位置を経て第3位置に移動させられる場合には、操作部が第1位置から第3位置に直接移動させられる場合よりも、船外機が発生する斜め方向の推進力の前後方向成分が大きいか、船外機が発生する斜め方向の推進力の左右方向成分が小さい。【選択図】図1
