To provide an evaluation method which can perform highly accurate quantitative evaluation of adhesion performance.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an adhesion performance evaluation method of a rubber-cord complex of rubber and a metal cord adhering to each other. The adhesion performance evaluation method comprises: a peeling step of allowing the rubber and the metal cord to peel away from each other; a measuring step of measuring a two-dimensional element distribution on a peeling surface of the rubber; and an evaluation step of evaluating adhesion performance on the basis of a measurement result of the two-dimensional element distribution.SELECTED DRAWING: None
