To provide a road surface state detection system that can detect more road surface states more accurately.SOLUTION: A road surface state detection system comprises a light source part 21 and a plurality of light receiving parts 22A, 22B, and 22C, in which measurement light beams L1 and L2 exited from the light source part 21 are emitted toward a road surface R, the measurement light beams L1 and L2 reflected and returned from the road surface R are received by the plurality of receiving parts 22A, 22B, and 22C, and the state of the road surface R is detected based on information of the measurement light beams L1 and L2 received by the plurality of receiving parts 22A, 22B, and 22C. The plurality of receiving parts 22A, 22B, and 22C have different receiving angles of the measurement light beams L1 and L2 from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
