To accurately predict a driving manipulated variable which is varied by a driver's driving manipulation.SOLUTION: A manipulated variable prediction model (model) generation device includes: a prediction feature value estimation section for estimating a first prediction feature value and a second prediction feature value for a prescribed section of a road ahead of a vehicle; a prediction model selection section for selecting, as a selected prediction model, a model to which a feature value prediction point specified by the first and second prediction feature values on a feature value plane belongs; a prediction accuracy determination section for calculating a divergence value from a prediction value, calculated by using the selected prediction model, of a driving manipulated variable when the vehicle passes through the prescribed section, and an actual measured value of the driving manipulated variable when the vehicle has passed through the prescribed section, thereby determining the level of the prediction accuracy of the model; and a prediction model generation section which, when the prediction accuracy is high, updates a feature value representative point corresponding to the selected prediction model so that the feature value representative point comes close to the feature value prediction point, and which, when the prediction accuracy is low, adds the feature value prediction point as the feature value representative point, thereby newly generating a model.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】ドライバの運転操作により変化する運転操作量を精度よく予測する。【解決手段】操作量予測モデル(モデル)生成装置は、車両前方の道路の所定区間について、第1予測特徴量及び第2予測特徴量を推定する予測特徴量推定部と、特徴量平面において第1及び第2予測特徴量によって特定される特徴量予測点が属するモデルを選択予測モデルとして選択する予測モデル選択部と、選択予測モデルを用いて算出される車両が上記所定区間を通過するときの運転操作量の予測値と、車両が上記所定区間を通過したときの運転操作量の実測値とから乖離値を算出し、モデルの予測精度の高低を判定する予測精度判定部と、予測精度が高い場合に選択予測モデルに対応する特徴量代表点が特徴量予測点に近づくように当該特徴量代表点を更新し、予測精度が低い場合に特徴量予測点を特徴量代表点として追加することでモデルを新たに生成する予測モデル生成部を備える。【選択図】図9
