To ensure convenience and safety if errors in an open/close position of an opening/closing body or errors in open/close instruction signals occur during regular operation (manual mode) of opening and closing the opening/closing body.SOLUTION: Power window devices 10P, 10R and 10L include: a position detector 1a that detects open/close positions of windows Wp, Wr and Wl based on pulses that are synchronized with the rotation of motors Mp, Mr and Ml; a position error determination unit 1c that determines whether there are errors in the open/close positions; and a signal error determination unit 1f that determines whether there is a stoppage error for close instruction signals during manual close operation based on close instruction signals. If there is a stoppage error for close instruction signals, window close operation is continued by continuing driving motors until the duration of the stoppage error exceeds a confirmation time and the status of the stoppage error is confirmed. When the status of the stoppage error is confirmed, the motors are stopped to stop the window close operation. A confirmation time in the case where there is an open/close position error is shorter than a confirmation time in the case where there is no open/close position error.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】開閉体の随時開閉動作(マニュアルモード)中に、開閉体の開閉位置の異常や開閉指示信号の異常が生じても、利便性と安全性とを確保する。【解決手段】パワーウインドウ装置10P、10R、10Lは、位置検出部1aがモータMp、Mr、Mlの回転に同期したパルスに基づいて、窓Wp、Wr、Wlの開閉位置を検出し、位置異常判定部1cがその開閉位置の異常の有無を判定し、閉指示信号に基づく窓のマニュアル閉動作中に、信号異常判定部1fが閉指示信号の途絶異常の有無を判定する。そして、閉指示信号の途絶異常が有っても、当該途絶異常の継続時間が確定時間以上になって、当該途絶異常状態が確定するまでは、モータの駆動を継続して窓の閉動作を継続させ、当該途絶異常状態が確定すると、モータを停止して窓の閉動作を停止させる。開閉位置の異常が有る場合の確定時間は、開閉位置の異常が無い場合の確定時間より短くなっている。【選択図】図3
