To provide a vehicular operation detector capable of suppressing erroneous detection.SOLUTION: A vehicular operation detector comprises: an operating plate 10 having an operating surface 11 to be operated by a user; an operation side electrode 21 that is arranged on the operating plate 10 and moves with the operating plate 10 in accordance with dislocation of the operating plate 10 in the thickness direction; a lower electrode 51 that is arranged to face the operation side electrode 21 at a position farther away from the operating plate 10 than the operation side electrode 21; a switching unit 91 for switching between a state in which the lower electrode 51 becomes a stable electrode with stable potential due to connection to the ground and a state in which the lower electrode 51 becomes a floating electrode; a touch detection unit 92 for detecting a touch operation on the operating surface 11 by detecting electrostatic capacitance generated on the operation side electrode 21 in the state where the lower electrode 51 is a floating electrode; and a pressure detection unit 93 for detecting a pressing operation on the operating plate 10 on the basis of comparison between the electrostatic capacitance generated on the operation side electrode 21 and a pressure threshold in the state where the lower electrode 51 is a stable electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】誤検出を抑制できる車両用操作検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】ユーザに操作される操作面11を備えた操作板10と、操作板10に配置され、操作板10の厚さ方向変位により操作板10とともに移動する操作側電極21と、操作側電極21に対向して配置され、かつ、操作側電極21よりも操作板10から離れた位置配置されている下側電極51と、下側電極51を、グランドに接続されることで電位が安定している安定電極とする状態と、下側電極51を浮遊電極とする状態とに切り替える切替部91と、下側電極51が浮遊電極になっている状態で、操作側電極21に生じる静電容量を検出して、操作面11に対するタッチ操作を検出するタッチ検出部92と、下側電極51が安定電極になっている状態で操作側電極21に生じる静電容量と押圧閾値との比較に基づいて、操作板10に対する押圧操作を検出する押圧検出部93とを備える。【選択図】図2
