To obtain tire grounding characteristics corresponding to a tire posture of a real vehicle at each time point in a period in which the transient change of the tire posture at the travel of the real vehicle occurs.SOLUTION: A tire grounding characteristic measurement method includes: a reproduction step of reproducing the transient change of a tire posture at the travel of a real vehicle on a tire; a stress measurement step of measuring the stress applied onto the tire contacting a rotary drum that is rotationally driven by stress measurement means buried on the rotatable rotary drum; and a calculation step of calculating the tire grounding characteristics being the characteristics in a grounding region contacting the rotary drum of a tread surface of the tire on the basis of the stress measured by the stress measurement means. The tire grounding characteristics calculated in the calculation step are the tire grounding characteristics of the tire corresponding to the tire posture of the real vehicle at each time point in the period in which the transient change occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】実車の走行時のタイヤ姿勢の過渡的な変化が発生している期間中の各時点における実車のタイヤ姿勢に対応するタイヤ接地特性を得る。【解決手段】タイヤ接地特性計測方法は、実車の走行時のタイヤ姿勢の過渡的な変化をタイヤに再現する再現ステップと、回転可能な回転ドラム上に埋設された応力測定手段が、回転駆動される前記回転ドラムに当接する前記タイヤにかかる応力を測定する応力測定ステップと、前記応力測定手段によって測定された応力に基づいて、前記タイヤのトレッド表面のうちの前記回転ドラムに接触する接地領域における特性であるタイヤ接地特性を算出する算出ステップとを含み、前記算出ステップにおいて算出されるタイヤ接地特性は、前記過渡的な変化が発生している期間中の各時点における実車のタイヤ姿勢に対応する前記タイヤのタイヤ接地特性である。【選択図】図1
