To provide a vehicular illumination system which can suppress reduction in visibility of information drawn on a road surface.SOLUTION: A vehicular illumination system comprises: a road surface drawing lamp 42 which is so configured as to draw prescribed information as road surface drawing by emitting light toward an object such as a ground surface or a wall and so on around a vehicle 1; an illuminance sensor 45 which can measure illuminance around the vehicle 1; and a lamp control part 43 for controlling the road surface drawing lamp 42. The lamp control part 43 controls the road surface drawing lamp 42 so that road surface drawing illuminance becomes larger than the illuminance measured by the illuminance sensor 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】路面に描画された情報の視認性低下を抑制可能な車両用照明システムを提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】車両用照明システムは、車両1の周囲の地面又は壁等の対象物に向けて光を出射することで所定の情報を路面描画として描くように構成された路面描画ランプ42と、車両1の周囲の照度を測定可能な照度センサ45と、路面描画ランプ42を制御するランプ制御部43と、を備える。ランプ制御部43は、路面描画の照度が照度センサ45により測定された照度よりも大きくなるように路面描画ランプ42を制御する。【選択図】図2
