To alleviate a reduction in the receiving level due to interference between direct waves and reflected waves from a moving route for wireless communication between a base station and a vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle movement control method comprises: for an expected movement range on a moving route for a first vehicle that has a wireless communication device, determining whether there is a receiving level reduction predicted position between a base station and the first vehicle caused by interference between direct waves via a direct propagation path and reflected waves via a reflected propagation path that causes reflection from the moving route; upon determination that there is the receiving level reduction predicted position, determining a target position relationship between the first vehicle and a second vehicle, in which the second vehicle that is moving in front of or behind the first vehicle and is closer to the base station than the first vehicle on the moving route is predicted to interfere with at least a part of the reflected propagation path; and controlling the speed of at least one of the first and second vehicles so that the position relationship between the first and second vehicles when the first vehicle passes through the receiving level reduction predicted position becomes the target position relationship.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】基地局と車両との間の無線通信における直接波と移動経路による反射波との干渉による受信レベルの低下を抑制する。【解決手段】無線通信装置を有する第1車両の移動経路上の移動予定範囲について、基地局と第1車両との間の直接伝搬路を介した直接波と移動経路による反射を伴う反射伝搬路を介した反射波との干渉による受信レベル低下予測位置の有無を判定する。受信レベル低下予測位置があると判定した場合、受信レベル低下予測位置を第1車両が通過するときに移動経路上の第1車両よりも基地局に近い位置で第1車両の前方又は後方を移動している第2車両が反射伝搬路の少なくとも一部を遮ると予測される第1車両と第2車両との間の目標位置関係を決定する。第1車両が受信レベル低下予測位置を通過するときの第1車両と第2車両との位置関係が目標位置関係になるように、第1車両及び第2車両の少なくとも一方の速度を制御する。【選択図】図1
