To determine whether the cause of abnormality in an external charging process is on the vehicle side or the charging stand side.SOLUTION: Abnormality history information including identification information of a charging station, which is stored in a storage unit of a vehicle when an abnormality occurs in an external charging process, is acquired. Then, when the acquired abnormality history information includes a plurality of charging stations, it is determined that an abnormality has occurred in the vehicle. On the other hand, when the abnormal history information includes one charging station, a diagnostic external charging process using a charging station not included in the abnormality history information is encouraged to be executed, and when no abnormality occurs in the diagnostic external charging process, it is determined that an abnormality has occurred in the charging station included in the abnormality history information, and when an abnormality occurs in the diagnostic external charging process, it is determined that an abnormality has occurred in the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】外部充電処理の際の異常の発生要因が車両側か充電スタンド側かを判別可能にする。【解決手段】外部充電処理の際に異常が発生したときに車両の記憶部に記憶された、充電スタンドの識別情報を含む異常履歴情報を取得する。そして、取得した異常履歴情報に複数の充電スタンドが含まれるときには、車両に異常が発生したと判定する。一方、異常履歴情報に1つの充電スタンドが含まれるときには、異常履歴情報に含まれない充電スタンドを用いた外部充電処理である診断用外部充電処理を実行するように促し、診断用外部充電処理の際に異常が発生しなかったときには、異常履歴情報に含まれる充電スタンドに異常が発生したと判定し、診断用外部充電処理の際に異常が発生したときには、車両に異常が発生したと判定する。【選択図】図5
