To provide an automated docking device capable of measuring a distance to a docking position from a remote distance at high accuracy by using an optical sensor and capable of smoothly carrying out automated docking by using measured data.SOLUTION: A LiDAR21 provided on an automated docking device 1 measures a distance to an object in the periphery for every prescribed angle by radiating light and receiving the reflection light reflected by the object. When automated docking is instructed to a vessel 80 in an offshore, the vessel 80 is switched to automatic navigation based on the LiDAR21 after being navigated for some time by automatic navigation based on satellite positioning. The LiDAR21 carries out preliminary measuring for measuring the distance to the object in the periphery in the docking position before being switched to the automatic navigation based on the LiDAR21. In the preliminary measuring, a control unit 43 carries out control to vary the attitude of the vessel 80, for example, so that the light radiated from the LiDAR21 can be received by the LiDAR21 by being reflected by the object in the periphery in the docking position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】光学センサを用いて着岸位置までの距離を遠距離から精度良く計測することができ、計測したデータを利用して自動着岸を円滑に行うことができる自動着岸装置を提供する。【解決手段】自動着岸装置1が備えるLiDAR21は、光を照射し、物体で反射した反射光を受光することで、周囲の物体までの距離を所定角度毎に計測する。沖にある船舶80に自動着岸指示がされた場合、船舶80は、衛星測位に基づく自動航行によりある程度航行してから、LiDAR21に基づく自動航行に切り換わる。LiDAR21に基づく自動航行に切り換わる前に、LiDAR21は、着岸位置の周囲の物体までの距離を計測する準備計測を行う。この準備計測において、制御部43は、LiDAR21から照射される光が着岸位置の周囲の物体に反射してLiDAR21により受光できるように、例えば船舶80の姿勢を変化させる制御を行う。【選択図】図1
