To provide a load sensor capable of accurately evaluating an unbalanced load, and an electric brake using the load sensor.SOLUTION: A load sensor 9 includes a three-dimensional strain element 91, a pressure receiving protrusion 92, a strain sensor 93, relay substrates 94, wires 95, and bonding wires 97. The pressure receiving protrusion 92 is composed of a first pressure receiving protrusion and a second pressure receiving protrusion, and the strain sensor 93 is composed of a first strain sensor and a second strain sensor. The pressure receiving protrusion 92 at the upper part of the strain element 91 is provided at a position one step higher than an upper surface 99a of the strain element 91.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
