To provide a battery pack for suppressing deterioration of a battery.SOLUTION: A battery pack is electrically connected to each one of a first battery and a rotary electric machine that are mounted on a vehicle. The battery pack includes a second battery having an energy density higher than that of the first battery; a charge/discharge switch arranged between the first battery and the second battery; and a control section for controlling opening/closing of the charge/discharge switch. When an output voltage of the second battery is higher than an output voltage of the first battery by a predetermined voltage or more during parking or stopping of a vehicle, the control section closes the charge/discharge switch so as to electrically connect the second battery and the first battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】電池の劣化の抑制された電池パックを提供する。【解決手段】車両に搭載された第1電池および回転電機それぞれと電気的に接続される電池パックである。電池パックは第1電池よりもエネルギー密度の高い第2電池と、第1電池と第2電池との間に設けられた充放電スイッチと、充放電スイッチを開閉制御する制御部と、を有する。制御部は、車両の駐停車時において、第2電池の出力電圧が第1電池の出力電圧よりも所定電圧以上高い場合、充放電スイッチを閉状態にして第2電池と第1電池とを電気的に接続する。【選択図】図2
