To restrain decrease in signal-to-noise ratio even if a communication station is upset.SOLUTION: An acoustic communication system 1 includes a communication station placed on-water or underwater, an acoustic communication device 3, a positional information acquisition device 6, a posture detection device 7, an estimation device 8, and a calculation device 9. The calculation device 9 has a function performing direction estimation processing for estimating the direction of a communication object with reference to the communication station, on the basis of the positional information acquired in the positional information acquisition device 6, and the position of the communication object estimated by the estimation device 8, a function for detecting upset of pitch, yaw and roll of the communication station on the basis of posture change detected by the posture detection device 7, and a function for setting the beam direction of an acoustic signal corresponding to the direction of a communication object with reference to a communication station estimated by the direction estimation processing, and imparting to the acoustic communication device 3 a direction C1 of beam forming setting the beam width of the acoustic signal, corresponding to upset of pitch, yaw and roll of the communication station.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】 通信局に動揺が生じてもSN比の低下を抑制する。【解決手段】 音響通信システム1は、水上または水中に配置される通信局と、音響通信機3と、位置情報取得装置6と、姿勢検出装置7と、推定装置8と、計算装置9と、を備える。計算装置9は、位置情報取得装置6で取得された通信局の位置情報と、推定装置8で推定された通信対象の位置とを基に、通信局を基準とする通信対象の方向を推定する方向推定処理を行う機能と、姿勢検出装置7で検出される姿勢変化を基に通信局のピッチ、ヨー、ロールの動揺を検出する機能と、方向推定処理で推定された通信局を基準とする通信対象の方向に対応して、音響信号のビーム方向を設定し、通信局のピッチ、ヨー、ロールの動揺に対応して、音響信号のビーム幅を設定したビームフォーミングの指令C1を、音響通信機3に与える機能を備える。【選択図】図2
