To provide a technique of improving work efficiency for a vacuum lift device which does not require power.SOLUTION: In the vacuum lift device, a valve device and a valve switching unit are arranged outside a cylinder and a pressing member for operating the valve switching unit is provided on a piston rod that is formed integrally with a piston and has an upper part protruding to the outside from a top surface of the cylinder. The pressing member rotatably drives a rotating shaft, which is provided in the valve switching unit, in one direction every time the piston is hung down. A valve mechanism of the valve device is switched from an opened state to a closed state or alternatively switched between the opened state and the closed state. The pressing member includes a rotation plate that has a display surface on which a first portion showing the opened state and a second portion showing the closed state are arranged in a circumferential direction and rotates in synchronization with the rotating shaft and a state notification unit for notifying of a state of the valve mechanism by indicating one of the first portion and the second portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
