To provide an onboard imaging device that can issue an alert to other vehicles to notify the same of the existence of a self-vehicle regardless of a wavelength range corresponding to an onboard infrared camera mounted on the other vehicle when calling for an attention by flickering an infrared light or the like against the other vehicle.SOLUTION: An onboard imaging device comprises: infrared imaging means for imaging an infrared image around a self-vehicle; first infrared light irradiation means for irradiating the surrounding of the self-vehicle with a first infrared light in a first wavelength band; second infrared light irradiation means for irradiating the surrounding of the self-vehicle with a second infrared light in a different wavelength band from the first wavelength band; and control means for controlling the radiation of the first infrared light from the first infrared irradiation means and the radiation of the second infrared light from the second infrared irradiation means. The control means controls the radiation of the first infrared light and the radiation of the second infrared light for an alert on the basis of the results of reception of the light by the infrared imaging means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】他車両に対して赤外光の点滅などにより注意喚起をする場合、相手車両が搭載する赤外光カメラが対応する波長領域によらず、自車両の存在を認識させるための注意喚起をすることができる車載用撮影装置を提供すること。【解決手段】自車両の周辺の赤外画像を撮像する赤外撮像手段と、自車両の周辺に対して第1の波長帯域の第1の赤外光を投光する第1の赤外光投光手段と、自車両の周辺に対して第1の波長帯域とは異なる波長帯域の第2の赤外光を投光する第2の赤外光投光手段と、前記第1の赤外投光手段による前記第1の赤外光の投光と、前記第2の赤外投光手段による前記第2の赤外光の投光と、を制御する制御手段と、を有し、前記制御手段は、前記赤外撮像手段で受光した結果に基づいて、注意喚起のために前記第1の赤外光の投光と、前記第2の赤外光の投光を制御することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
