To provide: an inspection method using an unmanned small flight vehicle which allows inspection inside a structure while conveniently realizing stable flight in an internal space of the structure; and an unmanned small flight vehicle used for the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an inspection method using an unmanned small flight vehicle 1 to perform inspection inside a structure while the unmanned small flight vehicle 1 is flying in an internal space of the structure. The unmanned small flight vehicle 1 is provided with a guide 8 to guide a vehicle body 10 along a linear object 23. The linear object 23 is arranged to be extended in the internal space.
