To provide a method making discrimination whether it has been treated or not available at a glance by visual inspection in conducting a modification treatment of a surface by applying flame to a bumper.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for conducting a modification treatment of a surface by applying flame to a bumper 1 before coating as a dry primer treatment. An irreversible heat sensitive material 9 capable of checking temperature history by color change is charged in advance at a position where thermal effect by the flame affects, and conducting a modification treatment of a surface in the state. Burners 5 is moved under movement trajectories M1 to M3 to the bumper 1, the heat sensitive material 9 is charged in advance at a position neighboring terminal ends of the movement trajectories M1 to M3 or movement trajectory M and where thermal effect by the flame affects.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】バンパーに火炎を当てて表面の改質処理を施すにあたり、処理済みであるか否かを目視にて一目で判別できるようにした方法を提供する。【解決手段】塗装前のバンパー1にドライプライマー処理として火炎を当てて表面の改質処理を施す方法である。火炎による熱的影響が及ぶ位置に、色の変化で温度履歴を確認することが可能な不可逆な感熱材9を予め装着しておく。その状態で火炎による表面の改質処理を施す。バンパー1に対してバーナー5を移動軌跡M1〜M3のもとで動かすものとし、その移動軌跡M1〜M3の終端または移動軌跡Mの近傍であって火炎による熱的影響が及ぶ位置に感熱材9を予め装着しておくものとする。【選択図】図2
