To prevent or inhibit the formation of wrinkles on a curvature formation part of a vertical wall part of a reinforcement member for a vehicle, even when the reinforcement member for the vehicle is press-moded from a high-strength material.SOLUTION: A hinge reinforcement (a reinforcement member for a vehicle) 20 is arranged on the inside of a center pillar (a structural member for the vehicle). The hinge reinforcement 20 has a U-shaped cross-section, and second vertical wall parts 20B are provided on both sides of a top plate part in a width-direction central part position, respectively. The second vertical wall part 20B is provided with a protrusion 25 for welding, and an anti-wrinkle bead 30 is formed between the protrusions 25 for welding in a curvature formation part of the second vertical wall part 20B. 【課題】車両用補強部材を高強度の材料を用いてプレス成形する場合であっても、車両用補強部材の縦壁部における湾曲形成部にシワが発生するのを防止ないし抑制する。【解決手段】ヒンジリンフォースメント(車両用補強部材)20はセンタピラー(車両用構造部材)の内側に配置される。ヒンジリンフォースメント20は断面コの字状であり、幅方向中央部位置の天板部の両側に第2縦壁部20Bを備える。第2縦壁部20Bには溶接用突出部25を備えると共に、第2縦壁部20Bの湾曲形成部にはシワ取りビード30が溶接用突出部25間に形成される。これによりプレス成形時のシワの発生を防止ないし抑制する。【選択図】図6
