To position a tray part at a height position of three or more stages with respect to a holder body.SOLUTION: A multistage lifting type holder comprises: a holder body; a tray part which can be lifted with respect to the holder body; a first energization component which energizes the tray part to an uppermost position; and a height positioning mechanism which can position the tray part at a height position of three or more stages. The tray part has: a tray side body part; a tray side engaging part; and a second energization component which energizes the tray side engaging part in a circumferential direction with respect to the tray side body part. The height positioning mechanism has: two or more holder side engaging parts which can respectively engage with the tray side engaging part by energization force of the second energization component; a release component having two or more positioning release parts which respectively reach positions for releasing engagement between the holder side engaging part and the tray side engaging part by going-down thereof with respect to the holder body by a prescribed operation of an operation part; a third energization component which energizes the release component upward with respect to the holder body; and a regulation component which regulates going-up of the release component after going-down of said release component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
