To provide a cap tread for a heavy load tire composed of a tire rubber composition having improved wear resistance and fuel economy while maintaining workability.SOLUTION: A tire rubber composition contains a polybutadiene rubber (i), another rubber (ii), and a rubber reinforcement material (iii), where the polybutadiene rubber (i) contains a polybutadiene (A) satisfying the conditions of the ratio between a 5 wt.% toluene solution viscosity and a Mooney viscosity (Tcp/ML) of 2.5 or more and a weight average molecular weight of 60.0×10or more, and a polybutadiene (B) satisfying the conditions of the ratio between a 5 wt.% toluene solution viscosity and a Mooney viscosity (Tcp/ML) of 3.5 or less and a weight average molecular weight of 56.0×10, with the polybutadiene (A)/the polybutadiene (B) of 10/90-80/20; the other rubber (ii) contains at least one of natural rubber and isoprene rubber; and the rubber reinforcement material (iii) contains carbon black with a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of 98 m/g or more. In the rubber component, a total content of natural rubber and isoprene rubber is 50-90 wt.%, and a content of the rubber reinforcement material (iii) relative to the rubber component 100 pts.wt. is 40 pts.wt.or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】加工性を保ちつつ、耐摩耗性および低燃費性が改良されたタイヤ用ゴム組成物から構成される重荷重タイヤ用キャップトレッドを提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係るタイヤ用ゴム組成物は、5重量%トルエン溶液粘度とムーニー粘度の比(Tcp/ML)が2.5以上、および重量平均分子量が60.0×104以上の条件を満たすポリブタジエン(A)と、5重量%トルエン溶液粘度とムーニー粘度の比(Tcp/ML)が3.5以下、および重量平均分子量が56.0×104以下の条件を満たすポリブタジエン(B)とを含み、前記ポリブタジエン(A)/前記ポリブタジエン(B)が、10/90〜80/20であるポリブタジエンゴム(i)と、天然ゴムとイソプレンゴムの少なくとも一つを含むその他のゴム(ii)と、窒素吸着比表面積が98m2/g以上のカーボンブラックを含むゴム補強材(iii)とを含み、ゴム成分中における天然ゴムとイソプレンゴムの合計含有量が50〜90重量%であり、ゴム成分100重量部に対するゴム補強材(iii)の含有量が40重量部以上である。【選択図】なし
