To obtain a fixed position stop method of a compensation sheave capable of rapidly stopping a compensation sheave at a position where injection work of grease can be performed even by one operator.SOLUTION: The fixed position stop method of a compensation sheave includes a step of mounting a piece to be detected on a position radially outside a position where a grease nipple is arranged, a step of installing a detector that detects the piece to be detected to output a detection signal, a step of driving a hoisting machine to rotate the compensation sheave at low speed, and a step of stopping the hoisting machine based on the detection signal to stop the rotation of the compensation sheave.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
