To provide a fall prevention device by which the necessity of separately storing components relating to setting change of a stoper for restricting the movement of a fall prevention plate is eliminated and the setting change work of the stopper is easily performed.SOLUTION: A track side stopper part 80 includes a stopper pedestal 86 and a stopper body 81 that restricts the movement exceeding a movement limiting position by the abutment of a fall prevention plate, which is moved by a driving mechanism part, on the stopper body. The stopper body 81 can be mounted on the stopper pedestal 86 with an arbitrary attitude among N pieces of attitudes (the N is an integer of 3 or more) and can be set at a movement limiting position corresponding to the gradual protruding amount by changing the attitude.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
