To provide an electric point machine which can suppress unnecessary power consumption during changeover and prevent reversal occurring after changeover has completed.SOLUTION: An electric point machine changes-over a turnout by a linkage operation of a rotational shaft 232 of a motor 230, a speed reduction mechanism, and a changeover mechanism on the basis on the rotational power of the motor 230. In the electric point machine, an electromagnetic brake unit 250 brakes the rotational shaft 232. An electric conduction control unit controls the electric conduction of the motor 230 and the electromagnetic brake unit 250, and stops electric conduction of the motor 230 and starts electric conduction of the electromagnetic brake unit 250, thereby performing electric conduction changeover control at the end of the changeover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】転換中の余計な電力消費を抑え、且つ、転換終了後に生じる反転を防止することができる電気転てつ機を実現すること。【解決手段】電気転てつ機は、モータ230の回転動力に基づくモータ230の回転軸232と、減速機構部と、転換機構部との連係動作によって分岐器を転換させる。この電気転てつ機において、電磁ブレーキ部250は、回転軸232を制動する。通電制御部は、モータ230および電磁ブレーキ部250への通電を制御し、モータ230への通電停止および電磁ブレーキ部250への通電開始を行うことで、転換終了時の通電切替制御を行う。【選択図】図2
