To provide an object detection device capable of improving detection precision of an object existing between a power transmission device and a power reception device of a non-contact power supply system.SOLUTION: An object detection device comprises: a storage section for storing a threshold learnt by machine learning in accordance with a feature on at least one of a vehicle and a natural environment; a sensor section which emits an electromagnetic wave between a power transmission device and a power reception device of a non-contact power supply system and receives a reflection wave of the electromagnetic wave; a calculation section for calculating a magnitude of the reflection wave in an electromagnetic region formed between the power transmission device and the power reception device on the basis of the electromagnetic wave and the reflection wave; an acquisition section for acquiring the threshold from the storage section on the basis of the feature on the vehicle and the natural environment, which are recognized on the basis of an image photographed by a photographing section for photographing a part between the power transmission device and the power reception device; and a determination section for comparing the calculated magnitude of the reflection wave with the acquired threshold and determining whether the object exists between the power transmission device and the power reception device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】非接触給電システムの送電装置と受電装置との間に存在する物体の検知精度を高めることができる物体検知装置を提供する。【解決手段】機械学習により学習された閾値を、少なくとも車両及び自然環境のいずれかに関する特徴に対応付けて記憶する記憶部、非接触給電システムの送電装置と受電装置との間に電磁波を発信し、電磁波の反射波を受信するセンサ部、電磁波及び反射波に基づいて、送電装置と受電装置との間に形成される電磁場領域における反射波の大きさを算出する算出部、送電装置と受電装置との間を撮影する撮影部により撮影された画像に基づいて認識される車両及び自然環境に関する特徴に基づいて、記憶部から閾値を取得する取得部、算出された反射波の大きさと取得された閾値とを比較し、送電装置と受電装置との間に物体が存在するか否かを判定する判定部、を備える。【選択図】図1
